About Flexmywork
Why this exists, and what it refuses to do.
Job searching in the AI era is broken in a specific way. People forget what they actually did at work, so resumes get rebuilt from memory — vague, undersold, numbers missing. Generic resumes get blasted at hundreds of roles because tailoring is exhausting. AI tools “fix” this by inventing experience, which detonates in interviews. And the whole pipeline lives in a spreadsheet nobody updates.
Flexmywork is one answer to all four: a work journal that acts. You write down what you did — a couple of sentences, whenever. From that record we build your master resume, tailor versions to real postings using only facts you logged, surface matching jobs, and track every application against the exact resume it received.
What we believe
- Truth over polish. AI never invents experience. Every claim traces to an entry.
- The journal is the product. It's valuable even if you never job-hunt.
- Calm, not compulsion. No streaks, no guilt, no gamified pressure.
- Privacy is sacred. Your journal is deeply personal. Encrypted at rest, never sold, never used to train models.
- ATS-first design. Exported resumes are built for parsers first, decorated never.
