Only the AI features are counted, because each call costs real money and the balance behind them is small. The app shows what is left next to each one, and under Account → Plan, before you reach it; nothing is throttled quietly. Some of these features are still arriving; a limit applies from the day its feature ships. Daily limits reset at midnight UTC, monthly ones on the 1st.
Planned higher limits for people who tailor often. Nothing sells it yet, it has no price, and this page will name one before anything asks for a card.

Everything you write during the beta is yours and stays yours, on whatever plan exists afterwards. Nothing you have already logged gets locked behind a payment.
