Flexmywork is a private work journal that becomes a resume you can defend. You write a sentence or two about what you actually did, while it is fresh, and it keeps a dated, searchable record of your work. From that record it builds resumes in which every line cites the entry it came from, a version per role, and tailored copies for a job posting. Its rule is that it never invents experience: a generated line that cannot cite one of your entries is rejected before you see it. Flexmywork is in free beta and open to anyone, anywhere, in English. The web app is live: the journal with its list, grid, board, calendar and timeline views, search, the overview, a resume builder where every line cites an entry, a version of your resume per role, tailoring against a job posting, a job pipeline, and questions answered from your own entries. The iOS and Android app is a beta build that is not in the App Store or Google Play yet. Paid plans and more integrations are coming.

Anyone whose work has to be explained later: engineers, analysts, designers, consultants, product and operations people, freelancers, and students logging courses and projects. It is most useful long before a job search, when the details are still fresh, and it works for a performance review or a promotion case as much as for a resume.

Nothing during the beta, and no card is asked for. The journal will stay free. Paid plans will raise the limits on the AI features later, and the price will be shown on the pricing page before anything is charged.

No. That is enforced in code, not asked for in a prompt. Every generated resume line has to cite the journal entry it came from, and a line that cannot is rejected before you see it; numbers and tools that are not in the cited entry are refused too. When you tailor to a job posting, requirements your entries cannot back are shown as missing rather than written in.

Each line on a resume is drafted from one or more journal entries and keeps a link to them, so you can always see where a claim came from and defend it in an interview. You can edit the wording freely. You can keep a version per role you apply for (3 during the beta), each with its own layout, and download it as a PDF.

Every AI answer is short: at most 120 characters, whether it is an entry summary, a suggestion or a reply in chat. During the beta the AI features are capped: ai summaries: 50 a month; ai help: 10 a day; questions to your journal: 20 a day; resume builds: 5 a month; tailored resumes: 5 a month; job page fetches: 10 a month. Writing entries, the views and search are not metered.

Yes. Chat answers questions such as "what did I ship last quarter?" from your own entries only. Each answer cites the entries it used; if the entries cannot support an answer, it says so instead of guessing.

Only you. Access is enforced inside the database with row-level security keyed to your account. Journal text is never sold, never used to train AI models, and never written to logs or analytics.

Clients are never named outside your own account. On a resume, an export or anything shared, a client appears as its industry, such as "a retail client". An employer may be named, because that is normal on a resume; a client never is.

Resumes download as PDF at any time. A full export of your entries is by email request to hello@flexmywork.com for now. Deleting your account removes everything immediately, with no grace period.

Yes. Paste it or upload it, and it is split into proposed journal entries that you keep, reword or drop. A resume version is then built from the entries you kept, so every line still cites one. The uploaded file is read once and not stored.

It does not apply for you and it is not a job board. You add roles you are interested in, by pasting a posting or its link; tailor a resume to each; and track it from found to tailored, applied, interview and offer, with the exact resume each role received.

Yes. There are no regional restrictions: anyone, anywhere can sign up and use it free during the beta. The interface is in English; you can write your entries in any language.

No. Two sentences when something happened is enough, and weeks where nothing did can be skipped. There are no streaks, no reminders and no score.
